BRIDGES Coalition Project Mapping of Humanities-led Sustainability Science
IHOPE’s SSC member, Steven Hartman, as Executive Director of the BRIDGES Coalition, has spearheaded the ambitous project to map humanities-led efforts in sustainability science. The result is a beautiful and informative 68 page brochure that outlines important and inspiring efforts to tackle issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. The brochure aims to become a discussion point about how community oriented efforts towards sustainability can be used by policymakers. The projects outlined range from cultural heritage protection in Mozambique to solar powered canoes to efforts towards rewilding. We recommend reading the brochure to get inspired and possibily connect to others who are working on projects that align with our members’ research interests.
