Belmont Forum CRAs – Project Funding Opportunities
The Belmont Forum currently has Collaborative Research Actions open for Applications. The Belmont Forum is a partnership that funds collaborative research projects focused on environmental change. Currently there are two open Belmont Forum CRAs which are interesting funding opportunities. They are both for projects that work on research collaborations that include at least three partner countries/organizations.
The first open Belmont Forum CRA is on Climate and Cultural Heritage. The deadline for proposals is September 8th, 2023. Three themes are included under this topic:
- The Impact of Climate Change on Cultural Heritage;
- Cultural Heritage as a Resource for Climate Mitigation and Adaptation;
- Sustainable Solutions for Heritage.

The second open CRA is on Climate, Environment, and Health. Pre-proposals for this CRA are due July 15th. 2023. Three themes included in this CRA are:
- Decision-science of environmental behavior and implementation
- Food, Environment, and Biological Security
- Climate Risks to Ecosystems & Populations
