IHOPE Becomes a Signatory to the Jena Declaration
IHOPE is proud to announce that we have become a signatory and partner to the Jena Declaration. The Jena Declaration, through its numerous partnerships, aims to create a sustainable future through a cooperative approach. Its focus is on a shift to living sustainably, reforming research, and achieving an impact in creating a sustainable future. As one of the Jena Declaration’s 22 partners, IHOPE sits in the company of other prestigious organizations such as the Club of Rome and the World Academy of Art and Science, which was founded by Albert Einstein.
The Jena Declaration is a set of principles supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and it has a number of institutional and individual partners who have become signatories to demonstrate their support and intention to collaborate on likeminded projects. IHOPE’s strategy of combining the history of the Earth’s system and human presence with the goal of a sustainable future is aligned with the core principles of the Jena Declaration, and we look forward to our partnership and continuing to support the principles laid out in the declaration through our work. The Declaration can be read in full here.
