Climate Change Event – The Illusion of Control Conference – May 15-17th
There is a loss of control that humans face when dealing with the consequences of climate change. Accordingly, the upcoming Illusion of Control Conference problematizes this loss of control. The conference will be held in Stockholm, Sweden in the auditorium of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. It aims to address the theme of control with a variety of international speakers from different fields. Speakers at the event include: Andrew Sheng, Atsushi Iriki, Daniel Brooks, Gert van Santen, Helga Nowotny, Liesbeth Feikema, Miguel Centeno, Nick Obolensky, Sander van der Leeuw, Sean Cleary, Terry Sejnowski & Brian Arthur.
The event will take place May 15th – 17th, 2023.
It will be a hybrid event allowing participants to join virtually as well as in-person.
